Col Ron’s Bull Shoals fishing report, July 5Posted by Col. Ron Janota on July 5th, 2012
After most of the crowds headed home today, I took two clients out today and did very well. Just goes to show you, it does change from day to day. We were out in the mid lake section of Bull, main lake points, 28 feet of water and caught 15 walleyes from 9:30am to 12:30pm, largest was 24″. Bouncing crawlers in 28 to 32 feet of water. Colonel Ron’s Professional Fishing Guide Service Although there were not many people fishing, there was still a lot of ski and tubing traffic, for the most part they respected the fishing boats. Water temperature was 84.5 degrees. We had to head in with the seven shown in the attached photo because of the warm water in the live wells was not keeping the fish alive. I would suggest in this heat take out a large cooler filled with ice throw the keepers on ice. Good Luck.
