Bull Shoals fishing report – Well, the dog days of August are here in June & July. Boomer. I was on the water this morning at 4am, with the full moon, I was fishing shallow, mid range then deep when the sun came over the horizon. Fished until 9am,, honestly, not the answer. Only three walleyes to show for the upside down day.

If you are interested in Bass, yes, the bite is good in 30 to 18 feet of water for smallies, using heavy jigs and crawfish. Kentucky’s are biting on the bottom bouncer like crazy at 23 feet. Points to try are point 8 to Yokum Bend. Several nice size cats are biting but I am not into that. Cranks are marginal, picked up three on 22’s, Normans. Walleye Divers are also producing a few fish.
