Spring River fishing reportPosted by Mark Crawford on October 17th, 2012
Water levels are running at 243 cfs at the spring and water clarity has been clear. Over the last week the fishing has been excellent on overcast, cloudy days and tuff on really nice sunny days. Y2k’s, snails and olive woolies have been the hot flies this week. Red and hot pink trout magnets are working great with spinning rods. This week the leaves have begun to fall and on windy days can be a problem when they cover the river. Just remember the leaves sometimes have ants and bugs on them. If you see trout that look like they are feeding on the leaves, then they are probably eating ants on the leaves. http://www.springriverfliesandguides.com
